[HAUL] Jolse feat. The Saem, Innisfree, A'pieu, Nature Republic

Finally got my Jolse order in, hooray!  I really needed new face cream, and I decided to try out some new serums/essences; I chose mostly with The Saem for their Chaga anti-aging line, and the new Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral line.  I also nabbed A'pieu's salt cream because it looked pretty and sounded nice, and I got Nature Republic's Bee Venom mist essence as a freebie.

Two of my sunscreens came in too, a Biore one to try out and the moist version of the Sunkiller I'm currently using.  Idek japan and their tiny ass bottles of sunscreen.

I've included ingredient lists for every item that had an English listing - anything that didn't just gets glamor shots haha B').  I took the pictures with the light fading on a rainy day here today, so they're not the greatest on some, but whatever.

The Haul!

IMPRESSIONS
The Chaga line comes in sturdy dark brown plastic bottles with a faux wood cap - nice and natural looking, sort of an apothecary feel.  Minimal bottle decoration.  They both have a very faint scent that starts mildly citrusy and becomes an earthy mushroom scent; the serum is slightly more citrusy than the essence.  The scent fades quickly.  The serum is a pump top, and the essence comes with a travel plug so that no product spills out: simply remove and you're ready to go!

Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Essence & Cream

 CREAM
onsen-sui(69.9%), propanediol, glycerin, triethylhexanoin, butylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, cetearyl alcohol, pentaerythrityl tetraethylhexanoate, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, citrus unshiu peel extract, camellia sinensis leaf extract, monascus/rice ferment, lactobacillus/soybean ferment extract, opuntia coccinellifera fruit extract, camellia japonica leaf extract, saccharomyces/barley seed ferment filtrate, orchid extract, glycine soja (soybean) seed extract, theobroma cacao (cocoa) extract, dextrin, dimethicone, glyceryl stearate, glycerl caprylate, butylene glycol, stearic acid, ethylhecylglycerin, carbomer, cholesterol, tromethamine, trisiloxane, palmitic acid, hydrogenated lecithin, hydroxypropyl bispalmitamide mea, water, disodium edta, phenoxyethanol, fragrance

onsen-sui(73.6%), propanediol, glycereth-26, butylene glycol, alcohol, glycerin, water, carbon dioxide, achillea millefolium extract, citrus unshiu peel extract, niacinamide, orchid extract, camellia sinensis leaf extract, camellia japonica leaf extract, opuntia coccinellifera fruit extract, dimethicone, sodium methyl stearoyl taurate, squalane, ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP copolymer, chondrus crispus (carrageenan), phenyl trimethicone, polygylyceryl-2 diisostearate, propylene glycol, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated lecithin, phenoxyethanol, fragrance

IMPRESSIONS
I bought these because I couldn't handle their cute blue presentation and the thought of sparkle water :(.  I am a weak bug.  The essence is in a metal container with a pump, and it sprays out a foam similar to a very light-weight shaving cream which begins to melt into a water once you rub it in.  The cream is a medium weight that doesn't easily settle in the tub, and will definitely benefit from a spatula since the neck of the product is quite high.  It's going to be a pain getting to the bottom of this product.  The cream is sealed with a thin shrink-wrap band and has a thin slide cover inside (just throw it out, it's paperthin and will be too much of a pain to keep).  Both products have what I dub as "the Innisfree smell".  Kind of herby, sort of floral, a little earthy.  It has a faint smell of sulphur, which is probably the onsen water - it's not off putting unless you stick your face into it and horf it up, and it dissipates quickly enough.

--------------------------------

A'pieu Essential Source Salt Cream

IMPRESSIONS
This cream looks so luxurious, I can't handle the jar.  So blobbycute.  The box does not contain any product info in English, but does include a clear spatula just knocking around in it.  The cream itself is white and very very thick looking, and feels a bit heavier than the Innisfree.  It spreads easily despite its appearance.  As far as smell goes, it just smells like generic lotion.  It's nothing amazing, just a generally agreeable scent.  I am pretty pumped to put this on my face, even though the product page was like "DON'T WORRY IF THE SALT BURNS YOUR SKIN IT'S OKAY."

 --------------------------------

Nature Republic Bee Venom Mist Essence

water, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, glacier water, bee venom, honey extract, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, salicylic acid, butylene glycol, citrus nobilis (mandarin orange) fruit extract, gardenia florida fruit extract, angelica archangelica leaf extract, houttuyniacordata extract, acoruscalamus root extract, foeniculumvulgare (fennel) fruit extract, artemisia princeps extract, cinnamomum cassia bark extract, cnidium officinale root extract, chamomillarecutita (matricaria) flower extract, viscum album (mistletoe) extract, camellia japonica flower extract, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil, tocopheryl acetate, phenoxyethanol, 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, tropolone, disodium edta, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, cananga odorata flower oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, pelargonium graveolens flower oil, pinus sylvestris leaf oil, melaleucaal ternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil

I am kind of unsure about putting this on my face, because idk, bees.  I just picked this as my sample because I've never tried a venom product before, so I may as well find out if I end up in the ER from a reaction the fun way.

 THE END, HAVE SAMPLES.

[HAUL] Photos & Ingredients feat. SharaShara & Beyond the Real Masks

Today, after an eternity, my KoreaDepart order finally arrived.  It took them about three weeks to calculate my shipping - I assume this is half because one of the mask bundles I ordered was OOS so their entire business had a meltdown, and half because they sent some poor new worker into a dark RPG style warehouse to locate my items.  Either way, they arrived well packed, with a small handful of samples.  I probably wouldn't opt for KoreaDepart unless I couldn't get an item elsewhere, especially as their shipping is unusually high.

Anyhow, I ordered some SharaShara Real Sauce masks in Honey and Strawberry, and some Beyond the Real ones in Rose and Multivitamin (the pomegranate ones were OOS).  I took some shots of the individual products and their ingredient lists, and some glamor shots :D.

just mask porn.

I see everybody else sharing their stash, so I felt like busting out my current sheet masks too B').  The new ones, some Innisfree (pore care, trouble care, total care, wrinkle care), a lone mediheal mask, assorted MBD (imperial bird's nest, bulgarian rose, apple polyphenol, strawberry yogurt).  I wear sheet masks at least every other night, so I tend to stock up a bit.  I don't really like the MBD apple polyphenol masks, though they seem to be HG status for a lot of people, so I just stick them on my decolletage and arms instead haha.  LUXURY ARMS.

[REVIEW] History of Whoo Gongjinhyang Secret Court Lip-balm Special Set

THE SET & PURCHASE
This is basically a deluxe sample set, and I purchased it totally on a whim with some enabling from a friend of mine. I needed a lipbalm and was inbetween hunting options down, because I have a problematic history with chronically upset lips. My lower lip has always been chapped and cracked as long as I could remember, with visible peeling. I could never wear most lipsticks due to this. I'd tried a ton of products but nothing ever really worked, so I figured what's the harm in dropping some cash on a product that probs wouldn't work again - at least this one would be pretty!

Man, so wrong. This set has been my life saver. I am a new not lizardlipped person, hail Whoo corporate. I will easily buy more of these sets or just splurge on the full sizes, I am that impressed. In one night the difference it made to my lips was so incredible I wanted to cry. I've never seen my lips look this normal.

On to the photos!

THE BOX
The Secret Court set comes in this precious little box. Mine was a little beat up from the mail, but no bigs. I kind of don't want to get rid of it since it's so nice looking hah.

 -------------------------------------------

THE INGREDIENTS!
Extra big pic, so hopefully you can read them. The back of the box blessedly has an entire list of the product ingredients in English on a sticker. One million extracts and other things. I was surprised to see how huge the lists were, but w/e they could put grave dirt in this product and I would still buy it again.
  -------------------------------------------

THE INNARDS~
Inside, there's a plastic sleeve to keep all your junk nice and snug. Included are the balm, mini lipstick, and a tiny lip brush on a strap (which is pretty tightly capped, so it would be decently safe to stick on your phone or something). Automatically this set punches you in the face with cute and pretty. These products all fit in the palm of your hand, and look amazing set out anywhere. They're all plastic, so they won't shatter if you drop them too - a plus for any butterfingers out there.

  -------------------------------------------

~GLAMOR SHOTS OOOO~
Do you see how ridiculously beautiful this set is? Do you see it?? Every time I see them on my desk I want to rub my cheek on them. History of Whoo knows how to dress things up. And a major plus - the lipbalm has an expiration date! No more worrying if your samples have been sitting in someone's basement for years before you got them.

  -------------------------------------------

The lipbrush, nothing fancy, but it's cute.
It's being visited by my Etude House Etoinette brush. family.

  -------------------------------------------

LIP & BALM PICS.
And the important part, the guts of the product.
The lipstick was something I originally checked after popping the cap off, said "this looks like my mom's" and decided it would look awful on me and I'd never wear it. It just didn't look amazing in stick-form. After a few days with the thought of it just going to waste though, I decided to give it a swatch on my hand and was super surprised. The color is actually really beautiful, a soft pinky-orange tint that is actually my perfect nude lipstick. I love it now, and the fact that I can justify wearing lipstick daily now is a huge deal to me ;_;

The balm is colorless (though it looks yellow tinted due to the container) and odorless (though it lists fragrance). It's super thick, and a texture almost like a gluestick - when it's on your fingers, you feel like you could stick stuff together with it and it almost feels fake. However, it's not actually sticky at all! A swipe or two thoroughly coats your lips and gives them a soft balmy shine that doesn't look overwhelming or goopy. I like to put it on at night, and I wake up with perfectly moisturized lips - but I've worn it during the day too with no issues. This is a huge, huge deal to me. That a product can essentially bring me close to 24 hours without the need to reapplication or drying me out - I never thought it was possible. FEELS.

 -------------------------------------------

CRAPPY SWATCHES SORRY DUDES.
I am apparently very bad at taking pictures one handed, so enjoy the worst shot of my hand ever. The color is decently accurate even in the morning sun, it's lightly pigmented and not heavily buildable but it's decent color payoff anyway. It's a moist formula, it doesn't go on cakey like some others I've tried in the past. Doubled with the balm underneath, it's paradise in a tube.
Enjoy my terrible worn pics too. But this is what I mean when I say it's my perfect nude color - it is a near perfect match to my bare lips, and just gives them a little bit of a tint. It's super subtle, but very flattering in person.

And I just need everybody to understand the sheer impact of that nude shot, if I could go back before I used this and put a picture of my pre-Whoo lips, it'd be flooring. Prior, my lips would have had a huge split down the middle of the lowerlip, and giant flaking sections. HAIL WHOO. (ノ⊙ヮ⊙)ノ

It Is Born.

I don't know how to run blogs and I probably will run this thing into the dumpster, but I wanted an easier way to share my halfassed reviews and product photos.

Ok real talk this is probably going to be nothing but photos and impressions, with very little useful information.
